Refund Policy

Refund Policy

The Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre is committed to providing a positive experience for all visitors. Admission fees, tour bookings, event registrations, and rental payments help support the museum’s operations, educational programming, and the preservation of Manitoba’s electrical history.

General Admission

General admission purchases are non-refundable once the visit has taken place. If you are unable to attend on the date of your planned visit, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate a change of date, subject to availability.

Tours and Education Programs

Refunds or rescheduling requests for guided tours, group visits, and education programs must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit. Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a refund, but may be considered for rescheduling at the museum’s discretion.

Events and Workshops

Refunds for museum events, workshops, or special programs may vary depending on the event. Unless otherwise stated, refund requests must be made at least 7 days before the event date. Tickets or registrations may be non-refundable after that time.

Facility Rentals

Facility rental deposits and payments are subject to the terms outlined in the rental agreement. Cancellation timelines, refund eligibility, and rescheduling options will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Museum Cancellations

If the Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre cancels a tour, program, event, or rental due to unforeseen circumstances, visitors will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund.

How to Request a Refund or Reschedule

To request a refund or reschedule a booking, please contact the museum with your name, booking details, purchase date, and reason for the request.

Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original method of payment whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

The Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Disclaimer

This refund policy is provided for general information purposes and may be updated at any time without prior notice. Refund eligibility is determined by the Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre based on the type of purchase, timing of the request, payment method, and any applicable booking or rental agreements.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. All refund and rescheduling requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In the event of a conflict between this policy and a signed rental agreement, event agreement, or other written agreement with the museum, the terms of the signed agreement will apply.

The Manitoba Electrical Museum & Education Centre reserves the right to refuse or limit refunds where admission, services, rentals, programs, or event access have already been provided.
